When Banks Will Be Closed for Dussehra in Your State? (Check Updated List)
Certain states will have the opportunity to enjoy extended bank holiday weekends, allowing families and friends to gather and celebrate this important festival together. For instance, in Tripura, Assam, and Bengal, banks will be closed for a four-day period, from October 21 to 24. The closure will commence with the observance of Durga Puja (Maha Saptami) on October 21, followed by Sunday on October 22. The closure will then continue with Dusshera on October 23 and conclude with Dussehra and Durga Puja on October 24.
In Sikkim, banks will remain closed from October 25 to October 28, with holidays for Durga Puja and other festivities. Residents of Guwahati will also enjoy an extended break, as banks will be closed from October 18 to 27, encompassing various celebrations.
