  1. Download the Necessary Apps: Start by downloading the “Aadhaar Face RD (Early Access)” app from the Google Play Store and install it on your Android smartphone. Additionally, download the “Jeevan Pramaan” application.
  2. Operator Authentication: Open the “Jeevan Pramaan” app and navigate to the “Operator Authentication” screen. Provide your personal details, including your Aadhaar Number, Mobile Number, and Email Address.
  3. One-Time Password (OTP): After entering your information, you’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your mobile number and email address. Enter this OTP in the app.
  4. Face Scan Authorization: The app will guide you through the face scan process. Authorize the Face Scan and proceed by clicking “Yes.”
  5. Guidelines for Face Scan: Review the guidelines for the face scan and confirm your understanding by checking the appropriate box. The app will then capture a picture of your face.
  6. Pensioner Authentication: After Operator Authentication, you’ll encounter a screen for Pensioner Authentication. Provide your Aadhaar Number, Mobile Number, and optionally, Email Address.
  7. Provide Additional Information: You can now input additional information such as Full Name, Type of Pension, Sanctioning Authority, Disbursing Agency, PPO Number, and Account Number. Confirm the declarations and submit the information.
  8. Consent for Face Scan: Grant consent and permission for the face scan. The scanning process will commence, and upon completion, you will receive a Pramaan ID and PPO number on your mobile screen.

With this step-by-step guide, senior citizens can easily use Face Authentication to submit their Life Certificates and continue receiving their pensions without any hassle. This digital transition is supported by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, which has issued guidelines to make the process even smoother for seniors.
